Robert E. Maclin, III, Member of McBrayer, McGinnis, Leslie & Kirkland, PLLC has a broad range of legal experience gained through over 25 years of practice throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky and various states where his clients conduct business. Mr. Maclin's practice is concentrated in the areas of insurance defense, commercial and banking litigation, and association management representation. He often represents clients in banking proceedings, including lender liability, bankruptcy, insurance bond claims, secured transactions, leasing disputes, and other litigation and negotiation matters. He also operates in the equine law area and has proven success in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Maclin frequently appears in state and federal courts on behalf of his clients and has tried numerous cases to favorable verdicts. His long list of notable cases demonstrates his ability to succeed in even the most challenging cases. He continues to try cases before judges, juries, and arbitrators, and has argued before the Kentucky Supreme Court, the Kentucky Court of Appeals, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and Montana Supreme Court and has appeared in the state courts of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Texas and Montana and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western District of Kentucky, U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois and U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
