- Obtained a defense verdict at trial
in the Fayette Circuit Court in a premises liability case in
May of 2010 in which the
Plaintiff was seeking damages in excess of one million dollars.
- Obtained a defense verdict at trial
in the Fayette Circuit Court in a premises liability case in
July of 2009 where the Plaintiff
alleged that she broke her ankle due to a hazardous property
condition
caused by our client.
- Helped negotiate resolution of a
number of Kentucky Department of Insurance disputes in the past
year on behalf of clients
in the insurance industry ranging from large international companies
to individual insurance brokers.
- Obtained favorable results in the
defense of numerous charges of discrimination before the EEOC
and various Human Rights
Commissions
on behalf of state employers.
- Helped prepare employment policies
and employee handbooks for employers in Lexington and the surrounding
area.
